Founded in January 2018 in Kandy, Sri Lanka, Joseph’s Foundation Pvt Ltd and Joseph’s Foundation Empowering Women (Non-Profit) were established by R.J.P. Joseph with the vision of uplifting women entrepreneurs.
The foundation began with small-scale training programs supported by the U.S. Embassy’s grants, focusing on digital skills, computer literacy, and social media for business. Over time, it expanded into entrepreneurship training, abacus education for children, and innovative recycling/upcycling projects such as Empower Her.
Today, Joseph’s Foundation is a recognized platform for capacity building, women empowerment, and sustainable entrepreneurship development in Sri Lanka.
