Creative Sustainability for Women

Transforming Waste into Worth, and Skills into Independence

Transforming Waste into Worth, and Skills into Independence

Empower Her is Joseph’s Foundation’s flagship eco-entrepreneurship initiative, funded by the U.S. Embassy. This innovative program empowers women by teaching them to design, create, and market beautiful, functional products made from recycled and upcycled materials.

The program merges environmental sustainability with women’s economic empowerment, giving participants not just the skills to craft eco-friendly products, but also the knowledge to turn those products into profitable businesses.

We work to reduce environmental waste by promoting creative upcycling, turning discarded materials into valuable, functional, and beautiful products. We aim to provide sustainable income opportunities for women from vulnerable and marginalized communities, helping them achieve financial independence and stability. Finally, we strive to foster innovation, creativity, and self-confidence through hands-on skill development, empowering women to see themselves not just as artisans, but as entrepreneurs and changemakers in their communities.
